CHILDLINE India Foundation played host to the Asia -Pacific CHILD helpline International (CHI) regional meet this year at Mumbai. The meet was on the theme 'Innovative and Effective Outreach Strategies' and was held from January 14 to January 16.
CHILDLINE Mumbai lent their expertise and conducted a day long demonstration of outreach strategies in Bandra and Dahisar, Mumbai for the delegates of the conference. During Outreach the Mumbai CHILDLINE put up Kiosk in planned area and carried loud speaker and mike. A street play in the form of a Puppet show was performed on the issue of Domestic Child Labour and Child Sexual Abuse.
The meet was concluded with delegates enjoying a bash with the street kids of the suburbs of Mumbai.
